Is Coming to Argos!
Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) is a volunteer-driven nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that every child has a safe, comfortable place to sleep. A bed is more than just a piece of furniture—it’s a foundation for a child’s physical health, emotional well-being, and ability to succeed in school and life.
Through the generosity of donors, sponsors, and community volunteers, SHP builds, assembles, and delivers fully furnished beds to children in need—completely free of charge to families. Each bed includes a mattress, bedding, and the compassion of the community members who help make it possible.
The mission is simple: No kid sleeps on the floor in our town. By working together, it's not just building beds—it's building futures, one child at a time.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace is coming to Argos through the cooperation of SHP - Kosciusko, Argos Community Development Corporation, and Argos Lion's Club. There are many meaningful ways to get involved and support the mission to ensure no child sleeps on the floor in our community.

Volunteer
This work would not be possible without the time and heart of volunteers. From building and assembling beds to organizing materials and helping with deliveries, every role makes a real difference. No special skills are required—just a willingness to help!
Join us for our upcoming bed build on May 16 and be part of something truly meaningful in our community. Volunteers will help build, assemble, and prepare beds that will be delivered to local children in need—giving them a safe, comfortable place to sleep.
No experience is necessary, and all tools and training are provided on-site. This a hands-on, rewarding way to serve alongside neighbors, friends, and local organizations, all working toward the same goal: ensuring no child sleeps on the floor.

If you or someone you know has a child in need of a bed, SHP is here to help.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace provides fully built, brand-new beds at no cost to qualifying families in our community.
Families can apply through a short and easy request process, and the SHP team will follow up with next steps, availability, and delivery details.
All information is kept confidential, and our volunteers are committed to providing every child with a safe, comfortable place to sleep with dignity and care.
